BREVITY: The Theory — online access

Refunds are available on request within 14 days after access begins. To request a refund, email tom@brevitysteno.com. Later requests are considered individually. Any refund attributable to an access purchase ends that purchase's remaining access.

BREVITY: Write Simply (print book)

14-day money-back guarantee. If BREVITY: Write Simply isn't right for you, send it back within 14 days of delivery. The book must be unmarked and resellable. Once the book arrives back, we will issue your refund, less a $50 restocking fee. You pay the return shipping. Original shipping charges, if any, are not refunded.

We don't ask anyone to buy on faith. Before you purchase, test BREVITY's output free with the Analyzer at brevitysteno.com/analyzer — upload or paste one of your transcripts and see how many keys it would save you. The evidence is free. The decision is yours.

In individual cases we may, at our sole discretion, offer a refund; any such refund may be conditioned on return of the book in resellable condition and a $100 restocking fee.

Any book that arrives damaged or defective will be replaced at no cost — email tom@brevitysteno.com within 14 days of delivery with a photo of the damage.

Zoom sessions (Book + Sessions bundle): Sessions are scheduled by emailing tom@brevitysteno.com and must be completed within 6 months of purchase; unscheduled sessions expire. Rescheduling requires 24 hours' notice — sessions canceled with less notice, or missed, are forfeited. If we need to reschedule, we'll rebook at your convenience. Sessions are for the purchaser only and are not transferable.

Orders are processed and shipped within 2–3 business days.
