Learn the outlines you need, one word at a time.
You don’t have to learn the whole BREVITY system to begin exploring its outlines. BREVITY: The Briefs will let you search for a word or outline, find the writing, and learn the entries you want to use.
Designed for steno students and working reporters, it will include every word from BREVITY: The Theory, plus additional entries drawn from Tom Fernicola’s Eclipse dictionary. Those additional words are ranked by how often they appear in his depositions and checked against the outlines he actually writes.
What’s planned

- For students, a dictionary file to import into CAT software as a separate dictionary, with a short checklist for importing it safely.
BREVITY: The Briefs is being developed for purchase on its own or bundled with the Woodshedder for practice.
